The mysteries of Paganism is normally beyond the reach of children. Siusaidh Ceanadach's books written with children in mind are the ideal material for all parents with kids around the ages of approx; 7 to 11. This does not mean that these books are restrictive, adults and teenages would benefit from the simplicity in which Siusaidh has crafted her explanations of the subject matter in each book. The books are Large, written on A4 with a font that is easy to read, plus packed with beautiful illustrations that most children will find attractive and can colour in themselves. At less than £5 each these books are a must in any Pagan parents book collection. ~ Piet Ceanadach, Facebook
Let’s Talk About Rites of Passage, Deity and the Afterlife I short: I like it. The book is very clear and easy to understand and is therefore an easy read for young and old. It also seems to appeal to people who are new on the Pagan Path and want an easy explanation. That is where books like Lets Talk About Rites of Passage, Deity and the Afterlife come in. This book explains itself because of the combination, of stories, explanation and questions. It is very appealing to the mind of young and old. I do think that Siusaidh has a good grip of how the young mind works and how to explain things to people with a genuine interest of following any Pagan path. This book is a very good addition to the home library for all ages. Parents and teachers can use it while they are explaining how most Pagans cope with certain milestones in our lives. The book is a good guide for explaining Deity and Gods, the afterlife and Rites of Passage. And once again, I am sure that most children will be able to manage on their own. I think that most adults will like it too, even though it is written for children. ~ Dennis Hazenbroek, OBOD member
Another absolutely wonderful book in Siusaidh Ceanadach’s Let’s Talk About series. Rites of Passage, Deity and the Afterlife covers exactly what the title says but it does so in a friendly and easy to understand fashion, covering the main pantheons of deity, all the rites of passage such as handfasting and passing along with a wonderfully written section on the afterlife. Each individual section has a beautiful story to be read by you or by your child to help them understand. These books are an absolute must for anyone with children that want to learn about Paganism. ~ Rachel Patterson, www.kitchenwitchuk.blogspot.co.uk
