This is an important book. Raymond Moody’s 1975 groundbreaking book 'Life After Life' brought near-death and out-of-body experiences to the public, increasing our awareness of the human spirit. Sharing a personal experience with an unknown audience is a daunting task, and you have met the challenge head-on by taking your readers on a journey to the inner recesses of your being. The personal ‘is’ becomes seamlessly universal due to your deft penmanship. The narrative runs at the speed expected of contemporary, yet exudes the power of an earlier style of writing appropriate to the subject, which probably explains the passion, commitment and sincerity jumping out of it. A psychologist, even if he made mince-meat of the experience, would be hard put to explain the sheer coherence and beauty in the writing! The spiritual aspects will always be subject to contestation, but that is good. I feel enriched by having read it. I hope it ends up in an anthology of spiritual experiences.
