Daniel Melo

Daniel is an attorney and social critic who grew up in diverse cultural and political settings. His experience includes immigration law where he became an ally to progressive movements and organizations seeking migrant liberation. He has several essays published in Areo Magazine and Medium and he currently labors in the public sector to ensure migrant access to justice. He is the son of an immigrant and spent his adolescence with his parents and three brothers in the Dominican Republic. He and his family live in the American southeast.
