If Sheena Vernon could choose a perfect lifestyle it would be to read well written historical fiction and non-fiction while still in her dressing gown, reluctantly climbing into her clothes only when her dog made it impossible to stay indoors any longer. Given that her perfect lifestyle is probably an illusion, she enjoys the fact that she lives within view of the sea in Hove, that she has grown up children doing interesting things, and that as a literacy tutor, she still gets excited to see her 'pupils' develop confidence and grow. She writes a blog for Sir Patrick, her dog, about dog walking, which some persons see as a sign of irrepressible and reprehensible eccentricity.
