Elizabeth Ashley has almost 30 years professional experience as a clinical aromatherapist, is the UK Director for the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy and an overseas speaker for the International Federation of Aromatherapists. As a professional speaker she has presented at trade conferences in Beijing, Utah, Budapest, and Sofia, and is a regular contributor to five professional trade journals.

She is the author of twenty other Secret Healer aromatherapy manuals, twelve of which have been Amazon category number 1 best sellers. Her books are a unique blend of ancient wisdom and science and she weaves her narrative of the earliest wisdom of plants with the most current research that the scientists have found in their labs.

She gives away The Complete Guide to Clinical Aromatherapy and The Essential Oils of the Physical Body as a free download on many ebook platforms as an introduction to her work and with over a thousand Amazon reviews, it maintains a 4.5 /5 average rating.

In 2018, she co-created and hosted the online Beyond the Essential Oil Recipe Summit with Hungarian aromatherapist Gergely Hollodi. It was the first online summit ever pitched at professional aromatherapists. After that, they worked together the create The Tongue of The Tree Oracle Cards, which are designed to help the reader bypass their conscious mind and speak to their subconscious.

As well as an accomplished writer, The Secret Healer is a prolific video maker with a youtube channel, a Knowledge Base of 45 videos teaching aromatherapy through the lens of Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Medical Astrology, and The Recipe Hub a digital database of over 500 video essential oil recipes.

Mother to three, and guardian of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, many shoals of tropical fish, a colony of bees and an axolotl called Joel.
