Kate Jackson

Kate Jackson

Kate Jackson has been a house group leader/teacher for the past four years and has created materials for her local Methodist church. For this role she utilised the skills she gained through obtaining a first-class English Literature degree and a distinction for her PGCE with a literacy and ESOL specialism. In addition, her experience as a teacher and specialist English tutor stood her in good stead when adapting and preparing learning materials for her house group. Her hands on experience has enabled her to see the type of materials that would encourage engagement, learning, knowledge and life application.
She has had two books published, in an unrelated field, by the British Library and is a dedicated and serious blogging analyst of classic crime fiction. She has been asked to speak at a national conference at the British Library. Kate lives in Hexham, UK.
