Thomas Matus
Born in Los Angeles, Thomas Matus was initiated into Kriya Yoga by disciples of Paramahansa Yogananda. He was trained in Christian contemplation at a hermitage in Big Sur and dedicated years to the search for analogies of experience between Tantric yogis and Christian mystics. He has traveled widely in India and made frequent retreats at the Ashram of Shantivanam, where Bede Griffiths taught.
