‘Brother Dan’ has over two decades of experience as a minister, hospital chaplain, editor, and retreat leader on subjects related to spirituality.
As a writer, his publications have been printed in over two dozen periodicals, literary journals, and newspapers. His blog, MonasticSkete, is found at http://danphillips.blogspot.com and is read by hundreds of people as a source for spiritual inspiration.
He has over 20 years of pastoral experience and is a frequent retreat leader on issues of Spiritual Development, Thomas Merton, and Spiritual journaling. His web page, How to Develop a Spiritual Journal, is frequently used in universities and churches as an example of the importance of keeping track of God's movement in one's life.
He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Presently, he is a full-time writer.
