It's been an exciting year for Roundfire, and in 2013 we published 26 books - more than doubling our output for 2012. We've always had fantastic authors, and now even more are joining us in our quest to bring readers top-quality fiction with a thoughtful, most times spiritual, edge.
So, what makes a Roundfire book? What makes the imprint different from other fiction houses? What attracts our authors and our readers?
I couldn't say, but there's an energy, a certain indefinable something that drives us forward, to write and to achieve. A lively energy, that has propelled Peggy Payne and Carrie Knowles to their massively successful Crazy Ladies book tour; a thoughtful energy, that has brought forth Carolyn Mathews' People's Book Prize-nominated novel Transforming Pandora; a dark yet thrilling energy, providing us with Michael J. Shanks' superb Dark Orchid; and a compassionate, ethereal energy, giving us Nick Clements' The Alpha Wolf, and Dielle Ciesco's The Unknown Mother.
Whatever you're into, there will be something for you on Roundfire. And with books endorsed by Julian Fellowes, J.M. Coetzee and Christopher Brookmyre - amongst others - you're guaranteed something from the top drawer.
