Stuart Feather
A participant in the event described, after GLF Stuart taught himself the art of the painted finish, specialised in lacquer furniture and screens, producing pieces for most major Interior Designers in London. He used the money earned from this craftwork to underwrite his art and theatre work. Riding two horses he helped co-found, with Bette Bourne as artistic director, the Bloolips gay theatre troupe, touring throughout Europe, North America and Canada from 1977 to 1993. New York Obie award winners 1981.
