Steve Hanson

Dr. Steve Hanson is a writer and researcher. He has lectured at Goldsmiths, in the Sociology department, at MMU and the University of Salford. He has worked as a research assistant for the University of Oxford and the Government Office for Science.

He has written widely for publication, something which includes peer-reviewed academic journals, cultural and political journalism, essays and music writing. He has recently published in Cultural Studies, Visual Studies, Street Signs and Social Alternatives.

He has also written essays for artists, including work for the Bradford Ways Of Looking festival catalogue, and Charlie Meecham’s Oldham Road Revisited project, for the People’s History Museum.
