Alexander Herbert is the author of What About Tomorrow? An Oral History of Russian Punk from the Soviet Era to Pussy Riot. He is a PhD candidate in Soviet History at Brandeis University, specializing in environmental activism and the history of technology leading up to collapse. He taught classes on environmental history, the politics of subversion, the underground, the history of Marxist and Anarchist thought, and more. He lives in East Providence, RI.
