Sten Eirik

Sten Eirik

Swedish by birth, Sten Eirik arrived in Canada at age 12 and spent most of his life as a Canadian. Creative writing became his hobby and passion from the age of 8, and a love of theatre and film followed in his teens. Sten's professional acting career began at age 22 and led eventually to the acting company of the Stratford Festival under Robin Phillips. This inspired him to pursue a career in directing and he was the founding Artistic Director of Guild Festival Theatre in Scarborough, Ontario (www.guildfestivaltheatre.ca). In TV and film, Sten worked on-camera with Gene Wilder, Charlton Heston and David Carradine. Having spent over three decades employed in professional theatre, TV and film, Sten's goal was to give more time to writing/publishing.

Outside of the arts, Sten was a certified psychotherapist with 15 years of experience treating a wide variety of ailments and issues. He sadly passed away in April 2015.
