Mary Brigid Surber

Mary Brigid Surber is a retired teacher with a Master’s Degree in education. She has completed The Last Stork Summer, about Polish children in WWII and is in the process of finishing/editing Constant Companions- a story about Viet Nam, and the soldiers who partnered with trained dogs to walk on point and detect enemy tunnels, trip wires and other hazards during the Viet Nam War. She served in the Air National Guard developing aerial reconnaissance film during the 1970s. She lives near Lake Tahoe, Nevada with her husband and two pugs.
