Poetic prose 5 Stars In these two books I have found, alongside with some "pretty rough" sex, the most amazing relationship between Rachel and Albert, springing like a lotus from the mud, who are so powerfully connected erotically and spiritually, with such a steady flow of love and pleasure, kindness and respect between them that they have entered forever what Amy calls "that blessed realm" ..........the true love we all dream of and when tasted nothing else will do. Amy transfers the feelings of this relationship so poignantly and sweetly in what I would call poetic prose and describes so perfectly our own desires...... ~ Alexandra Psaropoulou, Goodreads
Erotic Suspense at its best 5 Stars! Well what can I say, this book had everything in it, yes it is an erotic book but it also had suspense, intrigue and a deep thought process from the main character Rachel. She starts out feeling trapped in her marriage and sees a way out with Stefan, but once in his world her life changes in a way she never felt it could by meeting Albert. After her father's death her life took an almighty side swipe to a place no women ever wants to be, but with the help of her mother and Albert she manages to finally pull through with the most unexpected outcome. I loved this book and the way the characters and the settings were described it's like you had been transported there and were watching from the side lines. The suspense had me gripped throughout. I'm very much looking forward to finding out what happens with Rachel in the next book. It was amazing! ~ Louise Worsell, Goodreads, Amazon & her blog
This story made me think and I'm still thinking about it! 5 Stars This is book one, and I am NOT going to go over what this story is about, that's what the synopsis is for. I'm going to tell you why you should purchase this book. Do you like books that are sexy, thought provoking, and of course, on the dark side of things? Have you been through some things you’d rather not talk about? Maybe you have, maybe you haven't. Say you have, well...then it should be fairly easy to relate to the main character. I was shocked in the beginning, I was thrown in an already moving story from the first paragraph of the story. A bit different than what I'm used to, while reading, however, I believe that's your first sign of what this story is about. Living in the moment but, and it's a very big but, you must face your consequences, AND we must see how to DEAL with the after effects of those consequences. There's self discovery, but only when we reach those darkest limits. It feels good but at the same time you know it's not good. Maybe you can't relate, OK... read it anyways and ask yourself could you do that? Would you be OK afterwards? Afterwards...that's book two. I enjoyed reading this story because it made me think. And still I'm thinking about it. It's basically a tale of sexual infatuation, that takes you on an emotional high. You should purchase this book because while it's erotic, you're going to have a bunch of WTF moments. You might even ask yourself if it's OK to love this book. And my answer, is "Yes, yes it is!!" ~ Ariel Mathis, Goodreads & Amazon
Good Pussy, Bad Pussy and Good Pussy, Bad Pussy in Captivity by A. Aimee. This is a curious but excellent read. 5 Stars The characters, particularly Rachel, are complex and multilayered. Many very hot scenes are made hotter by the emotional entanglements the author skillfully draws the reader into. Even if you find Rachel difficult to empathize with early on, stick it out and you’ll be glad you did, because the story gets much bigger than it seems at first. ~ Callie Press, Callie Press Blog
A hot and cold running sex tale that will take you through times of elation and others of shattering disappointment - 5 Stars An organic, emotional journey with a woman dealing with her good pussy bad pussy, and the many places it takes her. Undoubtedly, chic lit, but working with a woman on my own writing, it invited me to expand my horizons. It is also a wide mix of erotica as four very different men take their turns with Rachel during this twisting story. It is perfectly titled Good Pussy Bad Pussy. Some of her experiences are extraordinary and others, a woman's nightmare. Emotions play a major role in telling this organic story of a young woman seeking to mean something after running from a choking marriage. Her value for the well-being of her son and unborn child keeps calling her back to try to do the right thing. Nevertheless, the doors to the right thing kept slamming closed on her. She and the reader will learn many life lessons even when manipulated by others. Rachel is a young survivor, but not without intense emotions, which confused her time and again. Through all the wanderings, people who honestly care and admire her emerge, but no spoilers here... All I will say, good pussy wins. ~ Trevor Alan , Amazon
A journey to find happiness and meaning 4 Stars Good Pussy Bad Pussy. What can I say? At first I was confused about the whole thing but as I continued to read, I understood it completely. The title alone attracts you, you know it's going to be erotic and heated. That's exactly what the novel is. But what I got out of it was that Rachel was stuck. No one likes to be stuck. Left unmoving and so confused about why you ended up in your current destination. This book was about her journey to find happiness and meaning after being in a loveless marriage. She loves her son but she wanted life to mean more with someone who will accept her whole heartedly. This is when Albert steps in. An awkward and rather timid relationship between the two later grew into love, passion and a future they both saw with each other. That's what encouraged me to continue reading. Just the basic meeting between two people with an unexplainable connection who learn that life without the other isn't even an option. I enjoyed this novel. It's based on finding what you've been searching for and realising that maybe you should trust your instincts. Congratulations, Amy, on this novel. ~ Aubrie Brown , Amazon & Goodreads
A Sensual Quest – 5 Stars Tired of living a conventional suburban life, Rachel left her husband and son for a fling in the south of France. Although she went with her lover Stefan, she's intrigued by his boss Albert with whom Stefan reluctantly shares her. She suddenly realizes she's pregnant and unsure of which man fathered her child. Further complicating things is her obsessed brother-in-law. This is a sensual story of a woman's quest to find her own way in the world. I recommend Good Pussy Bad Pussy. ~ Pandora Spocks , Goodreads & Amazon
Fantastic and Wicked Journey - 5 Stars First, I want to warn readers that there are uncomfortable situations in this book that involve rape and dubious consent. If this is a hard limit for you then I encourage you to stay away. However, if you’re curious, the author does a wonderful job at telling this story. This is a story about Rachel, her life, decisions she makes and her journey based on those decisions. Married to a boring and sometimes mean man, feeling trapped in her mundane life and yearning for the excitement that she knows is out there. A chance meeting with a man on the beach and a decision that will awaken something in her and change the course of her life. I have to mention the title of this book. I think its brilliant and I love it! This book was not what I expected, but in a good way. I loved this book and I can’t wait to read more! For me this was one of those books I stayed up all night to finish and I haven’t had one of those in a very long time. Rachel is a very complex character and at times I’m pretty sure she has no gut instincts, no inner voice telling her ‘this is a bad idea’ or just telling people the truth! She has the worst luck and makes terrible decisions. I did not care for Rachel in the beginning but I did feel her conflict with the entire situation. All I have to say to someone who is thinking about buying this book… just stick with it. You will not be disappointed. There is a ton of sex in here, but there was only one butterfly moment for me. The rest… I’m not sure how to categorize it. Some hot, some uncomfortable and some not hot at all. You’ll have to find out for yourself. Although I think the price of the book is a little much, it is a really good read and I highly recommend it. This author will take you on a wicked journey with Rachel’s tale. The mind and body are curious things and sometimes they betray each other. Not everyone’s reactions will be the same in every situation. What makes us come to some of the decisions that we make? Are you so sure that you would do the exact opposite? You will never know until you are actually in that kind of situation. Bravo A. Aimee! ~ Naughty Book Snitch, Amazon & Goodreads & her blog
Nothing like contemporary erotica. 5 Stars Good Pussy Bad Pussy aka Rachel's tale is totally an overwhelming tale and nothing like contemporary erotica. It is a captivating tale that swept me and swayed me like a mighty tornado. The tale begins with the main character Rachel leaving the traditional life of being a wife and mother and run off with her Lover Stefan who has ties with Albert, who is linked to a suspicious business overseas. Rachel is a modern woman who is relentlessly seeking liberation, freedom and fulfillment. And even if she is undecided and unsure of what she really wants, life takes her to an untold dilemma when she finds her lover Stephan sharing her with his friend Albert. She is also in turmoil seeking to resolve the guilt of leaving her husband and son. She seeks fulfillment and what life offers her is not one or two but innumerable opportunities as well as challenges in fulfilling her desire to be free emotionally whilst exploring and seeking to define love for herself. I fell in love with Rachel because she beats the odds of her love life with a sure determination and finds out what there really is; I mean do we know what we know? How sure is it that one is sure to find fulfillment in marriage? Or how sure am I that what 'm told is good for me and that's all. My first encounter of Rachel was sure bait and I fell for her to the end...and I can't wait for book two to see where we head. You will love Good Pussy Bad Pussy: Rachel's Tale as early as the first chapter :) ~ Thomas Muriuki, Goodreads
Society has ideas about how a pussy can be good or bad / 5 Stars Society has ideas about how a pussy can be good or bad, but those ideas don't match what's in Rachel's secret heart. She feels compelled to seek her own experiences with sex and what that means to her. This brings her close to a number of men, from the half-crazed Howard whose life is totally off track, to the powerful Albert who has it all and then finds out he has everything to lose. Other men too, mean that Rachel runs the gamut of emotions. By immersing herself in sex with each of these men, she learns how different they truly are, and learns more and more about who she really is. Check out this book about expanding boundaries through sex, danger, and vulnerability. ~ Tim Spencer , Amazon
Adventurous, steamy, funny and sad at the same time / 5 Stars I didn’t expect it, but this book was a really great read. When the author sent me a review copy of the book she told me: enjoy the read/ride. I really did have such a ride. I thought the book was just steamy erotica, but it is so much deeper. There are many twists and turns. Rachel is every woman on this planet. Her thoughts, desires, her sense of loss, and her adventurous spirit are well known to every woman. She is lost in her world with a man she doesn’t want, feeling there is no love for her. But she wakes up and finds a way to her destiny, even though the road will be rough sometimes. As the Ancient Romans said: Per aspera ad astra which means “Through hardships to the stars”. I like Rachel so much, especially the way she deals with things, though sometimes I wanted to shake her to wake her up. I liked the male characters Albert and Stefan. Stefan is weak as opposed to Albert, who is really strong. Oh and that H. is such a sick person. This is a book which will shake you, drive you, and give you a roller coaster ride. It’s adventurous, steamy, funny and sad at the same time. ~ Silvy Silvana, Amazon, Goodreads & her blog
Certainly doesn’t fit the usual romantic tropes / 4 Stars Rachel’s story is a fairly familiar one in erotica: Trapped in a loveless marriage with a boorish, boring man she no longer cares about, she falls for a handsome stranger who whisks her off into a whirlwind of sex and excitement. The story opens with her already on the loose but unsure of what she’s gotten herself into. For the man she initially falls for, Stefan, has some unexplained connection with another man, Albert, who may or may not be a gangster. Through the book, Rachel bounces between these two men and her estranged husband trying to decide what it is she really wants. This is one of those stories you will either love or hate depending on your reaction to Rachel. Good Pussy Bad Pussy is the sort of raw narrative that pours out of the main character’s head in an unfiltered torrent of emotions and self-reflection (the title refers to her inability to control her sex drive). Since Rachel has no clue what she’s doing with her life, neither do we. If you can hang on for the ride, and don’t find yourself hating Rachel’s indecision and sometimes ill-advised choices (I wavered over this in spots), it’s an enjoyable read. The sex is hot, but it does get a bit rough at times and certainly doesn’t fit the usual romantic tropes. You’ll probably know within the first chapter whether you want to keep going; I did. ~ Michael Dalton, Goodreads, Amazon & Christina Harding's blog
Tightly Woven Story / 5 Stars A deep, solid read that covers much territory. This story brings you sex, romance, abuse and plenty of real-life drama! A woman in an unhappy marriage who doesn’t always make the best decisions for herself, but still manages to turn out fine and happy and fulfilled. You will read this book in ONE sitting, and it will stay with you for days! Great writing, and a complete, solid story! I received this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review. I am really looking forward to reading more books written by her. ~ January Gray , Amazon, Goodreads & her blog
5 Stars - Psychological Journey I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It explores a beautiful woman's psychological development through a series of lovers, choices and consequences. It is fascinating to watch as she discovers her true self. Some of her adventures are of a purely sexual nature, while others are of deep abiding love. We see her thinking process as she finds her way through confusion to a secure family relationship. ~ Dennis Cardiff, Amazon & his blog
Rachel’s tale is all about how our bodies react physically to sex and delves into serious themes of consent as Rachel wonders why she enjoys some of her sexual encounters even though she didn’t desire them. Is she free because she gives into her lusts? And if she is free, why does she feel so dirty? She struggles with good pussy, bad pussy, with being faithful and wanting to give into her desires. Sex drives us all, and as she searches for happiness and a life, she realizes she can’t do that and not fall for her desires. Amy Aimee rights hot sex, from romantic to dubious consent BDSM. Rachel’s mercurial passions are conveyed with skill, and romance fans will find a lot to sink their teeth in as they journey with Rachel to find what she’s searching for. I give it 4 out 5 stars. It’s very well written romance and if you’re a fan of the genre, I’m sure you’ll love it more than me (I do confess to being male). But the themes in this novel are well worth reading and reflecting on. I doubt there’s a lot of romance out there that can make you reflect on the hold your desires have over you and the choices, often hasty and regrettable, you make while gripped by them. So check out Good Pussy, Bad Pussy! ~ Reed James , Naugthy Ladies Publications Blog & Goodreads
Good Pussy Bad Pussy was a great read and I love a happy ending. You had me worried right up to the last page; but everything turned out okay. The book is a perfect example of sex as art and entertainment. ~ Guy Hogan , Pittsburgh Flash Fiction
5 Stars & Bow to A.Aimee for Creating Such an Extraordinary Story I came across this book and the author on Twitter. I was stunned to look at the title and before reading, my mind shouted for the first star*. GoodPussy Badpussy, the titles itself reveals that it’s a mouth-watering, erotic page-turner but the story will actually make you desperate on every page. Once you start this book, you can’t leave it! It Rocked my nights and stayed on my nerves all day. The book has Heartbreaking start: Amsterdam-- when Rachel leaves her husband and her son and you are like I Hate You Rachel and questions are on your mind like why the hell she did it, how can a mother leaves her son! But still the next page doesn’t give you an answer. But as the story goes on… and you feel sorry and pity for Rachel, she’ll make you think what this girl has suffered - abused, raped and harassed and still she is being carefree. But I adored her for coping and for being a strong woman--ready-to-face every obstacle with loads of excitement. Rachel, the main character, is a seeker, who is looking only for happiness, love, freedom, acceptance, and an extraordinary adventurous life. Rachel is a flying Bird who tastes Prohibited fruits just for Fulfilling her Desires, but is never filled up. She flies to Stefan and leaves, she flies to Albert and leaves anyway. The end of book tore me apart. I’m not going to forget Rachel and all the other characters soon. The book is an exceptional drama which glimpses on choices, self decision-making, sexual liberation, sexual abuse, relationships and exploring your own body and loving yourself. Yes! Call it fight or conflict! But it is GoodPussy v/s BadPussy The book has landed me with oceans of emotions! My Favourite Quote: "The secret to sex is having some.” A.Aimee – Great work! You have peculiar writing style (deserves 5 stars+ special star for the attractive title). Keep Writing Ps: A.Aimee: What’s Next? ~ Mehwish Imam, Goodreads & Amazon
Sincerely Unforgettable - 4 Stars I was so torn on this book. Good Pussy Bad Pussy started off kinda weird. This chic Rachel leaves her husband and son to run off with some hot guy she just met. Is she desperate? Maybe. It was so easy to hate her. I can’t identify with this chic. I couldn’t stop thinking about this girl Rachel. Why did she do that? I had to pick the book back up and see where the author lead me. As it turns out, Rachel doesn’t really know either. She is just another dysfunctional soul trying to figure out how to get happy. I wanted to just say, I don’t like this girl. But then something happened in the story and I felt bad for her. I even found myself rooting for her to have a happy ever after. Although, throughout most of the story it didn’t seem possible. Rachel is a female lead with a promiscuous nature. She is what my grandparents would call a damaged girl. She is not good in the sense that is popular. She is trying to be something, trying to have an adventurous life. She wants to live with no regrets, but of course there are consequences to her behavior. She is tortured, raped, and abused. She has some real problems. She finds ways to cope. I agreed she should have left her husband. It wasn’t the right way, but when you have a small child no way is right. Her parenting is not her number one objective. How refreshing it is to see a story that doesn’t focus entirely on child rearing. This chic is trying to have a life, but she is doing it wrong. Good thing for karma. She is so careless she gets what she deserves and the story shifts. Some people are not that good at making the right choices. Rachel is a perfect example of how you can completely be wrong and still end up doing the right thing. Because this book disturbed me. I want to give it only 3 stars. The sex in this book was hot, but knowing she left her little boy to get it made me feel guilty. Rachel’s relationship with her mother actually saved her from being completely despised by me. Because of that, and other redeeming qualities, I have to give this 4 stars. The title drew me in but the sincerity of the character of Rachel made this a book that I won’t soon forget. ~ Karen Blue , Goodreads, Amazon and her blog
Good Pussy Bad Pussy is not your every day erotica. It contains a lot of emotional twists and turns and explores one woman's desire to have more while trying to find herself. From the beginning you can tell that Rachel is a bit lost - going from one guy to another and leaving behind her family on a whim. It was hard sympathizing with her at first because of some of the choices that she makes and it doesn't even seem like she's thinking about what she's doing. I wanted to go swat her with a newspaper at first. But as the book moves on and the drama ensues, you don't have the intense desire to hit the main character, you find you're actually rooting for her to find her happy ending. The emotional roller-coaster this book throws you into will have you glued to the pages waiting to hear what's next. Go check out Good Pussy Bad Pussy by A. Aimee if you get the chance. It's worth it. ~ DL Baker, Steamy Book Reviews and Goodreads
Good Pussy Bad Pussy is a “great freaking book"! 5 Stars This was a wildly created bunch of dysfunctional people too good to pass it up. This is how I felt: I felt like this was too real at times. I felt like I was sneaking a peak at Rachel's diary. She was a strong woman. She went through so much in this book and I adored her more and more. When it starts you know Rachel has left her husband and son in Amsterdam and she is in Nice with her lover Stefan. I get the feeling the author wants her very complacent and then awoken by Stefan. I liked him and I thought for a temporary fix he would serve his purpose. Then I meet Albert. I was DONE. I loved him. I knew as a mature man he was the lover and friend Rachel needed. She left anyways. I was sad for her. I thought the things (AND by things I mean steam, lust greed and unusual sexual affairs) wasn’t wrapped up. Rachel was never filled up. She never got her dream of being carefree and loved emotionally like I know she deserved. BUT... She decided to go back to her husband. I say that the author has created a family of characters that each have a flaw, some greater and some so unbelievable that I found it hard to read. It’s not for the faint. It is loaded with drama, relationships, decision making and sexual abuse. I felt bad seeing the end. I think the author did a great service with her unique storytelling. Bravo! ~ Renee Giraldy, Reading Renee Blog & Goodreads
5 stars: An uncomfortable story but one that needs to be told, and read. To start, I have to be honest, I did not to choose to read this book because it looked like something I would enjoy. I came across this book through a brief twitter contact. Putting that aside, what did I think about this piece of fiction? The storyline appears basic at first, a married woman, Rachel, who is bored with her marriage, abandons her husband and son for a blonde hunk, in a search for the indulgence of perfect orgasm. As a man, this story raised an uncomfortable feeling, from early stages in reading the novel. I initially felt this is a book written by a woman for a woman, but hold on. If a story invokes discomfort in its reader, then there is something thought provoking occurring in the mind of a reader. The story held my attention and at times, I felt very distressed for the main character. This book is uncomfortable to read, but that is its strength, as we all have our flaws in so many different ways. Who is to judge, who is fit to judge who? This is not really an erotic book, though it has its moments, it is more deeply concerned with the conflicts we have balancing our primeval drives against socially acceptable norms. I have taken four weeks to reach a decision, as to whether I should award this work as a four star, or five star rating. It could be fine-tuned a little, promoting it into one of those pieces of work once read, never forgotten, but as it stands, it has provoked my thinking, created uncomfortable thoughts and raised the question, how much of this is fantasy, and how much is fact? I feel very comfortable in awarding it five stars. ~ Darla Etienne Hogan, Amazon
I want to be up front and honest because I'm sure I'm not the only one, the title of this book did make me question if I wanted to read and review it. Obviously, curiosity killed the cat so I picked it up. I'm really glad I did!! Aimee gives us a story that, at first makes you think it's going to be about nothing but sex. That's so not the case! We meet Rachel. A thirty something wife and mother who's marriage to her husband, Jan just isn't what it used to be. She feels trapped and basically thinks to herself "Is this all there is to life?" So Rachel runs away with Stefan to the French Rivera! Until something totally unexpected happens and changes everything! I don't want to go into anymore details of the book because you really need to get it and read it all for yourself! You will not be disappointed! Also I specifically did not go into much detail about the sex scenes. They are super steamy and explicit and I would not have done them justice by typing a sentence or two about them. Like I said earlier, this is not a book just about sex. It goes deeper than that and you will see the struggles that one woman has with feeling trapped and her journey to find freedom. This was a really intriguing book and I recommend it to anyone who likes erotica, drama and a love story all rolled into one! ~ Ella Marie, Goodreads and her blog Reading is a Way of Life
A. Aimee wrote Rachel’s Tale — or “Good Pussy Bad Pussy” — to delight our beautiful adult bedtime stories. The main character, Rachel, is the wild mother, tired of the quotidian, burning to escape and to taste the unknown. Dealing with the world proves challenging but worth every bit of it. As the gracious version of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, Rachel offers you, the reader, a complete character. The conflict between Good Pussy and Bad Pussy makes Rachel real: the lover longing for a handsome stud fights the mother missing her little son – lover wins on the short run; the wife running away from boredom returns from the inner emptiness of deluxe harlotry – neither one matching her fate. Eventually (spoiler alert)....... There is more than one mother in this archetypal fairy tale of Rachel. It is a story about mothers that I invite you to read. Don’t worry, there’s enough craze and kink in it, enough tears and thrill, enough romance and repentance. “Good Pussy Bad Pussy” makes a perfect gift for Mother’s Day. Too bad that I can’t give it to my mom, but I’ve decided to present it to my daughters. Call it entertaining education if you wish. As a mother, you can yell “no” all the time at your kids. Just keep in mind that it won’t have much of an effect. Giving them a good read is better than a long lecture. ~ Doris Dawn, sex blogger , Goodreads and her blog
I'm always a little skeptical whenever I am to review an Erotica title and the same could certainly be said about Good Pussy Bad Pussy. When I first started reading it I wasn't sure that I would like it the book by the time that I finished it. Like with most Erotica titles it is important to keep an open mind not just as a reviewer but as a reader as well. By the time I finished the book I overly enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by the impressive writing flow of author Amy Aimee. The message of the novel may not be reflected within the title itself but are in fact deeply present throughout the pages. The message is not something that society would tend to agree with nor would the idea be applauded had it not be a novel, but the message is something that we all are guilty of thinking about at least once in our lives and Rachel, the heroine is of no difference. I wasn't sure that upon meeting Rachel I was going to like her character. Rachel after all is a woman that has recently left her husband and her child behind in search of freedom, of life. I may not necessary agree with the decisions that Rachel made but the fact that she was brave enough to take such a plunge cannot be overlooked. Within Rachel's travels and her many lovers she soon discovers that life and love is not a matter of black and white. The standards set forth by an overage society matter little and it is the importance of who an individual's inner soul truly is that truly matters. What I liked about most of the lovers that Rachel had was the fact that they all taught Rachel something about love and about life in the time that she spent with them. This novel is a little deeper than most Erotica novels that I have read and I was quite pleased with the outcome. I really enjoyed how Aimee was able to set apart her own novel from that of the traits of typical Erotica novels. The character of Rachel is written with such depth that readers will laugh, cry and envy Rachel by the time that the book is finished. Good Pussy Bad Pussy is not recommended for those that are not willing to keep open mind when reading novels. It is intended to be different and that is exactly what drew me into reviewing the title. The sensual scenes are Erotica though well written and I don't think that any reader will be overly offended by the sexual content. Whether you are a reader with an open mind or perhaps those that tend to follow the aging standards one thing remains and that is the message of author Amy Aimee's novel and I am greatly looking forward to reading more from Aimee in the future! http://forthepassionofromance.blogspot.dk/ ~ Tracy L Mandy, For the Passion of Romance blog
5 Stars! This book will captivate you intoxicate you and leave you wanting more! Wow! Once you start reading this story you won't want to put it down. I was totally captured by the main character’s struggle and fight with herself and her emotions. I loved the way the writer broke the story down in sections. Made it a little easier to put it down but also it was like I could jump into that scenario so easily, as a kind of someone looking in at the different situations that evolved. In terms of erotica it had a great level and an equal balance of hot action but the story backed it up perfectly. Initially I felt no sympathy with the main character but about half way through I was nearly crying. This is an amazing bedtime read. It will truly captivate you. ~ Lisa Lawson, Goodreads & Amazon
4 Stars - Excellent Turbulent Erotic Story. The name of this book immediately made me say OOOOh I want to read that. I'm always in for a good steamy book. The synopsis sounded amazing too. But as I started reading, I realized this isn't your typical naughty book. It has dark, tear jerking moments as we follow Rachel through her life. It sucked me in and I just kept reading! 5 star review on Amazon: A classily written erotic book. Recommended An engaging tale about an intelligent young lady called Rachel, leaving the comfort of a humdrum marriage to explore pastures new. She soon finds that the new life has its ups and downs, both in the bedroom and the outside world. As the title suggests, her decisions are often driven by desire. She discovers that love isn't a black and white, take it or leave it situation. Satisfaction, both mental and physical can be found in unpredictable ways and places. The heroine is a likeable girl who at times struggles to deal with the repercussions of her decisions. The gravity of her situation is explored well in the final few chapters and is an excellent page turner, with an unexpected finale. Those seeking a rude read will enjoy the nicely written sensual scenes that occur frequently throughout the novel, sometimes alluringly descriptive, other times as simple as `we made love'. Never repetitive and definitely not pulp porn, Good Pussy Bad Pussy is a classily written erotic book. I look forward to more from this author. Recommended. ~ John McGuin author of Chilli Birds and Unusually Hot, Amazon and Goodreads
From Erotica Reviews:Recommended. This is intelligent erotica with a woman dealing with the consequences of her choices. Today we dive into a smartly told tale of love, lust, betrayal, and a woman’s best efforts to find meaning in her life. Either that, or our heroine’s life can best be described as an erotic train wreck of massive proportions. Our book today hits all the right notes for high drama and erotic suspense with Good Pussy Bad Pussy: Rachel’s Tale . I’ll have to admit this is a smartly named book, and likely pushed the boundaries for Amazon and other stores. Good. Without boundaries pushed, much of classic literature would not exist. Keep pushing, writers. A train wreck? I hope that got your attention, because our heroine’s life is so thoroughly messed up I loved it. Our authoress even started us out with a huge OMGWTF moment, which I hated her for as an editor, but absolutely loved her for as a reader. We start the book with our heroine, and she has already left her husband and child for another man (or other men, as it seems). Then, our authoress never tells us why. Well, not right away. We have to read on a little to find out why, and bam, I am instantly hooked. Yes, an editor who doesn’t understand your work would likely tell you, “You need to explain that right away!” As a reader, I loved sitting there wondering what the heck was going on, how could she leave her family, and what sort of cold-hearted bitch this is. We find out later, be patient, reader. Yes, it had me turning pages, and that’s a good thing. She’s not a cold-hearted bitch after all, and she has her reasons I shall not spoil. Her life is still a mess though, and I enjoyed being taken through it page after page. The book feels like that ‘Chapter 1′ and a couple others have been removed, and the whole book sings and has a great flow because of it. I like the in-media-res style, and here it is wonderfully done. Even the chapters where she meets the new hunk is gone, and we start with that, “I’ve done something terrible!” moment. It’s brave, wonderfully done, and it hooks me in and grabs my interest right from the start. Switching gears, the cover is simply nice. A black cover, and a rose. Elegant, simple, and we don’t need a thong. Nice text work as well. I like the ‘good pussy bad pussy’ theme too, and this is brought up in the book several times. There is a meaning in here where this certain part of her body controls her actions, for better or worse, and how this all works out in her life. For men, I suppose this might be better said as ‘bad cock worse cock’ but I digress. Fun and meaningful title, simple to the point cover, and what’s not to love? Text quality is good, and the book had that immediate storytelling style that I like so much. This is a full-length novel too, and it took me the better part of a day to finish. Despite the length, the book moved, didn’t dwell on the unimportant parts, and captured the conflicts well. I liked the dialog too, it was smartly written. Heat-level is good, there were some great examples of ‘bad pussy’ winning the fight, and her giving into her passions. There was a long section at the end where I wanted some more ‘bad pussy’, but I’m happy ‘good pussy’ won. I kept interested despite the lack of ‘bad pussy’ though, the story and characters hooked me in and kept me reading to the end. I won’t reveal which pussy ultimately won though, you’ll need to read the book for that. Recommended. This is intelligent erotica with a woman dealing with the consequences of her choices. The start is fun, fast, and hooked me in. The characters were great, and also the details on the locations were very nicely done. There is some delicious background in here as well, with far-flung places across Europe and the world we visit. This isn’t purely romance as well, this is exploring a woman’s passions and choices, so this is a great story for the erotica genre. Another great book for the new year, and one you should check out. 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellently written erotica This review is from: Good Pussy Bad Pussy: Rachel's Tale (Kindle Edition) "There are so many books about these days that claim to be erotic. Some are too cartoony. Others just recklessly written average filth. Somehow Rachel's Tale ignores both of these failing styles, and embraces both good writing and clearly described, lustful indulgences. If the aim of A. Aimee was to arouse, the author succeeded. Thank you, and I look forward to more." By Mr. M. McNickle ~ Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/Good-Pussy-Bad-Rachels-Tale/product-reviews/1782790845/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1
Highly recommended 5 Stars A.Aimee's stories have a a way of getting inside your head. They are well written, balanced and structured - Most importantly, they are a bloody good read. I had the honor of being gifted two of her books, and quite frankly, I wish that I had paid for them as I feel like a bit of a moocher having read quality work like this for free. ~ Dimpra Kalleem , Goodreads & Amazon
Good coffee break read Overall Good Pussy Bad Pussy was a good book which will immerse you in a crazy, dark, intriguing world. Full of twists and turns and highs and lows. Credit to A. Aimee for how she managed to pull me into the story line as this is not an easy task. ~ The Oooh Review, Amazon & the Oooh Review
From Erotica Revealed: A morality tale or a paean to sexual desire, the greatest life-force? I don’t quite know what to make of "Good Pussy Bad Pussy: Rachel’s Tale". The title sounds like a lighthearted, sexy romp, and the first part is certainly sexy enough, but Rachel is foolish rather than lighthearted, and some of the situations she gets herself into are too grim to be considered romps. This isn’t a bad book by any means. The writing is good and the central character is likeable enough. The sex is well written, although by the second half of the book there’s very little enjoyment involved. Rachel, an American, is bored with her husband in Amsterdam, so she leaves him (and her four year old son) and runs off with blond, buff Stefan to Nice, convincing herself that “it was true love, great passion, high romance.” Life on the Riviera seems to be everything she could want, and so does the sex with Stefan. Sex with Stefan’s boss is even better. But sex with the boss’s brutish business associate is not, and Rachel feels guilty that she comes to orgasm even with someone who repels her. (She never seems to realize how lucky she is that all the men she fucks, even the brute, are skilled at giving women oral sex.) ... From Erotic Review Magazine: What's new Pussycat? Some might call it 'disappearing down the rabbit hole of bliss' There are some tasks that are outside one’s pay grade. To judge chick-lit is one of them. As a ‘mere male with a brain the size of a pea’ (as my builder’s wife describes him), I can only offer a masculine perspective… Good Pussy Bad Pussy isn’t witty like Jilly Cooper’s oeuvre; it probably isn’t, sadly for the author, as bafflingly commercial as 50 Shades of Grey (although just as credible as either). But it is no more laughably full of off-the-peg sentiments about ‘Adonis-like’ and ‘powerful’ lovers or brand-name shops and goods than any populist female-focused literature and journalism. Nor is it hard-core pornographic. Rather, in perfectly explicit but almost genteel terms our heroine author offers a version of female sexual engagement in which the conflict between simple sexual urges and social conditioning is resolved through the erotic and dramatic equivalent of a Galaxy choc bar or a Disaronno advert. Desire is always ‘liquid’ and surrender to sexual pleasure is like ‘disappearing down the rabbit hole of bliss’. Good Pussy Bad Pussy is not a great work of literature, nor is it so very terrible… it has narrative energy, a touchingly moral and old-fashioned point of view and if authored by a sixteen year-old girl would probably sell a million. If I were a woman I might even call it ‘rather sweet’. To read the whole review click here:http://eroticreviewmagazine.com/reviews/whats-new-pussycat/ ~ Bruce Abrahams, Erotic Review Magazine
