The author's years spent in Greece add great authenticity as her knowledge of locals and their customs and livelihoods are particularly vivid. I have learnt a lot about a country I would now like to visit for the first time. ~ Ethel Corduff, SCPSW
A deftly crafted and original novel of mystery, suspense, and holiday romance, "Angel at the Paradise Hotel" by talented novelist Teresa O'Driscoll is a fun read from cover to cover. While a terrific and recommended pick for community library Contemporary General Fiction collections, it should be noted for personal reading lists that "Angel at the Paradise Hotel" is also readily available in a digital book format (Kindle, $8.49). ~ Margaret Lane - Midwest Book Review, https://www.midwestbookreview.com/rbw/may_23.htm#margaretlane

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed this book. It was an interesting story with ghosts and I usually do not like books like that. I would definitely recommend this book! ~ Denise Cook (Reviewer), NetGalley
Quilting together an incredible patchwork of not only characters but scenery together so seamlessly that if you closed your eyes after each paragraph, you could see everything that author Teresa O’Driscoll is willing you to; that is what makes Angel at the Paradise Hotel such a compulsive summer read this year (especially for those of us not leaving the country, of course). A quiet moving, at times veritably touching, and yet always threaded with both intrigue and uncertainty, the book is one of those where when each chapter ends, it does so in a way where you say to yourself, OK, well, I’ll start the next one to see where this is going ... and suddenly you are through that chapter and considering the same for the next! ~ Exclusive Magazine, Review
5 out of 5 stars Set in Corfu, this book would be a good escapist holiday read. I've been to Corfu a few times, and was transported there as I read. I found the inclusion of angels interesting, and they added an urgency to the book, revealing characters' inner thoughts and dilemmas. This is a book about community, and the author cleverly weaves together individual stories, each with their own joys and heartbreaks. The characters are authentic, and I found myself drawn to each, wanting to know what would happen to them. Angel at the Paradise Hotel is a novel that keeps the pages turning! ~ Emily Owen
5 out of 5 stars Now I can say I have been to Greece and met angels. I love books that offer glimpses of the invisible world and the "war" around us and among us. It goes beyond the obvious and it stirred my imagination. A beautiful story in a beautiful location. ~ Gloria
5 out of 5 stars I love the concept and body of work that this amazing author has brought together. Angel at the paradise hotel is exciting, engaging with twists and turns in all the right places. Looking forward to a sequel maybe...? ~ Salome
5 out of 5 stars From the opening scene of the Angel Gabriella’s trademark landing on the beach, this book captivated me. There are hosts of wonderful characters and even difficult demons that Gabriella has to deal with. It is always a spiritual battle between good and evil. She often helped and advised people’s guardian angels. The trouble is, will they listen to their guardians or their demons? Teresa O’Driscoll managed to weave a beautifully crafted romantic story with the angelic love of God. Highly recommended book. ~ Dennis Higgins
The setting may be idyllic but each person still wrestles with problems, and the tight-knit local community are not always happy to see the tourists – even though they are a lifeline financially. Then there is a whole other dimension – each person has a demon and an angel assigned to them and we are kept abreast of all discussions and activities within their sphere. I did find myself eager to learn what happened (and I was very relieved there was no sugary sweet, neatly tied-up endings for the characters). I also enjoyed the character development and felt that was done well. The book did also remind me, and make me think more deeply about how vital and life-changing our short ‘arrow’ prayers for ourselves and others can be. ~ Claire Musters, author
5 out of 5 stars In this intriguing novel, Teresa O’Driscoll displays her knowledge of the enchanting Greek islands to weave a multi-charactered tale. Whilst there cannot be said to be a main protagonist, O’Driscoll develops her characters well and sets them perfectly such that Greece itself becomes the centrepiece; a unique method of storytelling. ~ Joseph Posner
5 out of 5 stars I do love a book about angels and this one has them in spades. The novel is written on two levels, the earthly and the spiritual, with the guardian angels and their polar opposites, the stalker demons, fighting for the souls of their wards. This book has everything. We have romance, breakups, infidelity, dodgy business practices, jealousy, malevolence, difficult family dynamics, gorgeous scenery, faith, greed and an aspiring writer finding inspiration from the beautiful surroundings. The author skilfully asks more questions than she answers, keeping the reader hooked until the very last page. ~ Ruth Leigh
A circle that you are standing in the middle of and holding your ears on both sides. On the left, your guardian angel is hoping to reason with you and stay on the right path while your stalker demon has other ideas. Author Teresa O’Driscoll takes each character and creates their flaws, and conflicts and allows them to be protected by their own guardian angel hoping they hear their words and follow what they say. But, the stalker demon was created to allow the reader and all if the characters to decide which way to go. What about you? Which side: good vs evil? ~ Fran Lewis - Just Reviews, https://tillie49.wordpress.com/2023/03/17/angel-at-paradise-hotel/
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars ‘Angel at the Paradise Hotel’ is a unique read. It is well written and the dialogues and characters are so realistic. There is something for everyone here. There are quite a number of characters but all are beautifully linked and interwoven in the story. ~ Olusola Sophia Anyanwu (Author)
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Greed, envy and self disbelief all feature, but the angels do their best to lighten the mood by encouraging their wards to believe in themselves and care for others. In the end I was left with a positive feeling and perhaps a little kick up the back to not just "plod along". I really enjoyed the complexities… ~ Nix Charlesworth (Reviewer) , NetGalley
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. The story was sweet with a touch of bitter and ultimately left me feeling lighter and with a feeling of hope. ~ Kate Merson (Reviewer), NetGalley
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars One summer in the charming resort town of Korkyra, on the dazzling island of Corfu, was life-changing for several residents and tourists. The character development of the close knit community members, as well as the visitors who have a variety of reasons for summering in the town, is outstanding. The uncertainty of choices characters will make adds an intriguing element to the story. An extraordinary tale, with unforgettable characters – a great read! ~ Deborah Lloyd (Author)

Teresa's highly inspirational and illuminating debut novel is full of intrigue, heart, depth and meaning, sprinkled with an array of colourful, identifiable characters. A guaranteed page-turner, which has tremendous potential for adaptation to the silver screen. ~ Brett Syson, Consultant/Producer on six official Oscar submissions for Best International Film
Take this book down to the beach in the morning, and I guarantee when you return sunburnt to your room at the end of the day you will see no one around you, from waiters to fellow holidaymakers, in the same way. The characters seeking escape amidst the idyllic beauty of Corfu never manage to shake off the problems they have run from, while O’Driscoll beautifully captures the intrigues of a tightly knit traditional Greek community. ~ Donald Finnaeus Mayo, Author of The Insider’s Guide to Betrayal and Francesca
With Teresa’s artistic skill in painting the exotic island of Corfu, its beautiful setting seems ideal for a gentle story of romance with a happy ever after ending. But there are forces of light and darkness at work and the arrival of angel Gabriella is key to a great adventure which challenges the reader to choose sides. ~ Pauline Lewis, Author of Freya's Fragrance and The Dark Stranger
