Trent Portigal delivers a book as strangely beautiful as its title. We have a main character in Natalie who keeps the plot moving, and there are lovely notes of uniqueness throughout. The Amoeba-Ox Continuum works as a blend of witty storytelling, reflexive science fiction, and page-traveling mystery/thriller. ~ JD DeHart , NetGalley
Praise for Trent Portigal's previous novel 'A Floating Phrase': ...A deftly crafted novel that explores the nature of art and fear...consistently compelling and fully engaging from beginning to end. ~ Midwest Book Review
