Howard Marc Chesley
Born in Boston, Howard Marc Chesley began his craft at the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and then at UCLA Film School. He has since had a long professional writing career in movies and dramatic television, working for virtually all of the major studios. He has writing credits on seminal shows like Crime Story, Equalizer and Chicago Hope as well as having created, produced and worked as showrunner on Three Moons Over Milford, a series on ABC Family Channel starring Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern. He has written several TV movies, the most recent of which appears currently on Hallmark Channel.
Chesley is an active sailboat racer and surfer near his house in Los Angeles. His initial interest in finding interesting books at auctions and estate sales led him to buying and selling them online as a fascination and a sideline, even finding time for it while writing and producing TV. His interest served as inspiration for Some Books Aren't for Reading, his first novel.
