Brandon Tietz

Brandon Tietz was born in Omaha, NE, in 1982. He studied literature and illustration at the University of Kansas. In November of 2008 he published his first novel 'Out of Touch' through the vanity press iUniverse. This novel would later be picked up for a traditional re-release by Otherworld Publications in January 2011.
Tietz's short stories have been widely published. His work can be seen in: Red Fez, Rotten Leaves, Cannoli Pie Magazine, and Word Riot just to name a few. He's also in the anthologies 'Warmed and Bound', 'Spark (vol. II)' and 'Burnt Tongues,' which is edited by Richard Thomas and Chuck Palahniuk. His short-story collection, 'Vanity,' is currently being shopped by James McGinniss of McGinniss Associates out of New York.
Tietz currently lives in Kansas City and his working on his next book. He's also part of the key staff at LitReactor where he writes book reviews and columns on craft and marketing.
