David Brazier is president of the International Zen Therapy Institute and head of the Order of Amida Buddha. He is a spiritual teacher, philosopher, psychotherapist, poet, woodsman, traveller, person of letters, gardener, critic, founder of communities and social aid projects, inventor of pandramatics, educator, photographer and much more. He loves the richness of life, its joys, challenges and paradoxes. Though he has a doctorate in Buddhist psychology, and professional qualifications in psychodrama, social work and management, as a man of passionate intellect, he is extensively self-educated in the things that matter most to him - the vicissitudes of the human spirit and its expression in life, society and art. He co-founded the Amida Trust Buddhist community and created the Other-Centred Approach in psychology.
