Geoff Thompson
Geoff Thompson is a BAFTA winning screenwriter, penning multi-award winning films for luminaries such as Ray Winstone, Orlando Bloom, Anne Reid, Alison Steadman and James Cosmo. He has also written over forty books. His work in the self help genre has been published in 21 languages: he has appeared on the Sunday Times Best Sellers List several times. His first book, Watch My Back, detailing his experiences working as a nightclub doorman in Coventry for over a decade, was adapted into BIFA Nominated motion picture, Clubbed.
Geoff is also one of the world’s highest ranking self-defence and martial arts instructors. The prestigious Black Belt Magazine USA polled him as the most influential martial artist in the world since Bruce Lee.
He has written articles for national magazines and broadsheets, including The Times, Men’s Fitness, GQ and FHM. Geoff lives in Stratford upon Avon, UK.
