Mathews is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Counseling Supervisor, and a National Board of Certified Counselor’s (NBCC) Approved Provider of Continuing Education, with a Doctorate of Divinity in Metaphysical Pastoral Counseling. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher and a provider of astrological counseling. She has served as a faculty member of the American Institute of Holistic Theology, having written over 150 courses. In her private practice she uses both Transpersonal and Cognitive Therapy with individuals, couples and families.
