An exellent and inspiring book that's easy to understand, with a reassuring and enriching atmosphere flowing from the pages. She has a direct and fast paced style of writing that grabs your attention from the first page. I enjoyed reading this book and will treasure the astonishing knowledge the author has given me.
~ Sarah Connor, Eternal SpiritAn amazing story - all the more so because it is true.
~ Cygnus ReviewA wonderful book telling the inspiring story of the author’s journey into Spiritualism and Shamanism. Taylor takes the reader on a journey through her life, starting at the very beginning, her very first unexplained supernatural experience, through modern day.
Ms. Taylor writes in a wonderful, friend-next-door manner that makes it as if she’s right there, verbally telling the reader her story. Her familiar style of writing also breeds much empathy in the reader, causing one to feel for her as the reader follows her story. The most notable thing, I believe, of this story is that it’s very real; it’s one that anyone could have a similar experience of in their own life.
Anyone who has had a life changing spiritual experience should read this book. Ms. Taylor’s courage and strength to continue pushing through, despite the disbelief of her family as well as the lack of community support and information sources available at the time of her original experiences is very inspiring. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in personal stories of Spiritualism and Shamanism.

Shaman in Disguise is one of those rare books that tells the story of outer journeys that lead the author, and the reader, deep into the psyche, as well as to new levels of higher consciousness. It also depicts the powerful path into age old forms of shamanism chosen by a modern woman, and the power, wisdom, and energy she receives as a result. ~ John Perkins. shaman and bestselling author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman.
If I were not present for much of this book which reads like a page turning detective novel, I would think it were fiction. But I was there and know it to be both an accurate and inspiring account of this housewives spiritual journey to great power and healing.
A must read for anyone undergoing a spiritual awakening.
Wendy's courageous story of her life shows us how to allow spirit to flow through us as the mystery unfolds in our lives, one clue and one shapeshift at a time.
