Another fantastic book by Rachel Patterson. I particularly loved the meditations. I know it will quickly become another useful reference book for me, along with other books by Rachel. This book is packed full of everything you need to know about working magically with the element of earth and plenty of info you didn't even know you needed. I couldn't put this book down and recommend it for any Pagan who wants's to work with the element of earth on a deeper level. I am a huge fan of Rachel's work, so I could be biased, but I love this book. I am always open to learning new things, and you can teach an old witch new spells I can assure you! This book is written in Rachel's chatty fun informative style. You feel as though you've sat down with a friend for a brew and a chat (which in this current crisis is much needed). There's the basics of earth energy and magic, to working with ancestors, plants, crystals, and what we can do to help the planet. There's so much in the book it would take too long to list it all, and you need to pick up a copy and discover it for yourself. One of the surprises for me was the meditations on places that connect with the earth, such as caves, groves, farms, and libraries! The latter was about finding advice and inspiration. I loved the suggestions, some of which, like libraries, I'd have never thought about. So another winner for Rachel, my copy now has lots of scribblings and notes in the margins.
