Martha Gray
Martha Gray grew up in Burton-Upon-Trent in Staffordshire and spent most of her adult life in Derbyshire, United Kingdom. For 28 years her focus has been on traditional witchcraft and the Egyptian mystical tradition, in which she became an initiate. While writing Grimalkyn: The Witches Cat, Power Animals in Traditional Magic, she developed an interest in the world of animal shamanism eventually led to the creation of her Facebook page, Totem and Power Animals.
She now lives in the United State with her husband and cat. She has spent three years in Berkeley California, followed by three years in Arizona. Since being in the US, she has studied the healing and magical properties of plants, bringing her knowledge on the subject from the UK, her travels in Europe and the Western United States, training and be ordained a Gyðja in the Northern European Tradition. She is a regular contributor to Vortru magazine with articles on herbalism.
