‘Whether you are a seasoned Yogi or Meditator or new to meditation, you will enjoy this book. Even just reading through this book without following any of the meditations I felt an instant feeling of calmness and peace. As you journey through this book you will be taught techniques to calm the monkey mind, move aside ego and focus on your goal: Peace. You will be taught how to prepare the body prior to meditation: Relax the body and the mind will follow. With 15 separate meditations, there really is something for everyone, regardless of your experience. As you move through the meditations the author will gently guide you through each step, instructing you on breathing techniques, focus and visualisations. This most recent book from Jenny was inspired by a poem on “Peace” by her guru Paramahansa Yogananda. It is a composite of divine channelling from him together with wisdom gained by Jenny over her many years of spiritual practice & her experience in yoga, psychology & philosophy. My mentor and the author of this book, Jenny Light has guided me through some very toxic and chaotic situations in my life. Before I met Jenny, I am not proud to say, I was a very dissatisfied, unhappy, anxious and stressed out selfish person, who really didn't care much for anyone or anything other than myself. Right from the first page, as I began to read, I sensed a feeling of calm and gentleness. The very words used and the ebb and flow of the writing all led to me begin in a more relaxed state even as I read those first few pages.
