Eleanor O'Hanlon

Eleanor O'Hanlon was born in the West of Ireland and has a degree in German and French language and literature from Trinity College, Dublin.
She has carried out field research for leading international conservation and wildlife organizations around the world. As a writer, she has collaborated with some of the world's outstanding photographers of wildlife and wilderness. Her articles on wildlife, wilderness, animal behaviour and conservation have appeared in magazines such as BBC Willdlife, Geo, Animan in France and Switzerland, Nature's Best in the US and webcasts bringing together nature photographers and writers for the protection of wilderness. Eyes of the Wild is her first book. It has been awarded the 2014 Nautilus Gold Book Award for Nature Writing.
