Liz Dowling Sendor
The Rev. Liz Dowling-Sendor is an Episcopal priest who has served congregations in Durham and Chapel Hill, NC. She is a spiritual director and retreat leader and leads spiritual
formation groups at Duke Divinity School and with the Johnson Interns in Chapel Hill. In addition to writing and editing, she offers writing groups through the Resource Center for Women in Ministry in the South, where she serves as Writer in Residence. Before ordination she was a newspaper reporter and magazine editor. Born and reared in Beaufort, SC, she received her A.B. degree from Harvard University and her M.Div. from Duke Divinity School. She has three grown children and enjoys contra-dancing, hiking, singing, and yoga.
