Judy Stephens and her husband Wray have four children and five grandchildren. She has worked for a local newspaper, taught high school English, worked for the Willie M Review
Panel, and served on local church staff. Currently a Deacon in full connection in the NC United Methodist Conference, Judy was one of the first to be ordained under the new order. With certifications in Camp & Retreat Ministries and Christian Education, she has worked for conference camps and is serving at St. Francis UMC in Cary, NC in Discipleship/Family Ministries. She earned an Undergraduate degree in social work
from UNC Greensboro and a Masterâ€™s in Counselor Education from NC State University. Judy has taken classes at several seminaries and specializes in Marriage and Family Therapy.
