Florence Gildea

Florence Gildea

Florence graduated with a BA in History and an Mphil in Sociology from the University of Cambridge, and spent a year studying theology before working as an assistant chaplain at a boarding school. She has worked as a researcher for two Members of Parliament, and for several charities. Writing and telling stories is her biggest passion and she has done this both freelance and full-time for three Christian news and media organisations, charities, as well as having articles featured in academic journals. Florence became a Christian when she was 18 after her life was turned upside down by a serious eating disorder. As a result, she most comes alive when she sees people transformed and set free from the constraints and pressures that our culture places on them by experiencing God's unconditional love.
