John Aspin
John Aspin was born in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, in 1946 and has had a life-long interest in folk-lore, history, paleontology, big cats, and works in engineering. He has several books in print including; The Legend Of The Wizard, The Legend Of The Lambton Worm, Sabre-toothed Cats, Frances Kidder - The Last Woman Hanged In Public, The Ninth Legion, and several children's picture books including; Timmy Tortoise, Nemme The Friendly Sea Serpent, Romper The Unicorn, and Tuffo The Prehistoric Tortoise. He has also worked on several film and television scripts and has written with Mark Olly for many years, resulting being 'The Disappearing Ninth Legion' through O-Books.
