Rory J.Q. Barnes
Comparative religion first clicked with Rory Barnes at Cambridge University and that passion developed and stayed with him. A living has to be earned and so he trained as a solicitor. But on his retirement eight years ago he began to write up all the material he had collected. His preoccupation with the subject is a bit strange, since he has few beliefs and belongs to no organized religion. He says it is that lack of any bias combined with a driving curiosity which has made him approach an old subject from a new angle. He lives in Sussex, UK.
