Roger Payne
Following a professional career in science teaching, careers education and in school management, Roger Payne returned to university for study and research in Theology, Christian Ethics and the Psychology of Religion. At the same time he qualified as a Reader in the Church of England. His most recent work has been on the promotion of humanity in religious discourse which was the subject of his last book, 'A Different Way: A Human Approach to the Divine'. He has also published two books on the development of Aldenham School, an independent school in Hertfordshire.
