Jill Poet is a social entrepreneur and the CEO and Co-founder of three social enterprises.

It Really Is Just Good Business relates more specifically to the Organisation for Responsible Businesses CIC (ORB) which is at core a membership organisation for responsible SMEs - a movement for a better way of doing businesses; a way that is good for business and good for society. https://orbuk.org.uk

As well as membership, she also helped developed the Responsible Business Standard, validated by Anglia Ruskin University and designed specifically for small businesses. Although initially an onsite certification, this has now been moved online as a course with various certification options. https://responsiblebusinessstandard.org.uk

She is passionate about small businesses but equally passionate about small businesses operating ethically and responsibly. Her mission at ORB is to change the world, one small business at a time....

She believes we need to nurture the power of small businesses to make a positive impact on society and as well as our work at ORB; It Really Is Just Good Business will also play a role in meeting that aspiration.

Over 99% of private businesses in the UK are small businesses with 0-49 employees, and 96% of those are micro-businesses with 0 to 9 employees. If just a small percentage of almost 6 million businesses adopt a different way of doing business, the cumulative impact is phenomenal

Although not a writer by profession, providing content is a big part of her role. All the content on the ORB website and final content in the course - which is a very big course accredited with 20 hours CPD - is all her work. Additionally, she edits and publish the blogs for ORB and also one of her other businesses: Healthy Life Essex.
