Matt E. Jaremko
Matt Jaremko taught clinical psychology at University level for almost 20 years, at the University of North Texas, University of Richmond, University of Mississippi and University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Dallas. This academic activity was balanced by the operation of an independent practice of clinical psychology for over 25 years. He estimates having taught over 2000 students and delivered over 35,000 hours of psychological services. During a career spanning 40 years he engaged in stress and trauma research, publishing in over 30 journals. Chemical dependency and family therapy was a point of focus in Matt's clinical practice. He retired from professional work in 2012 and lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife. In addition to writing, he spends time keeping up with his five grandchildren teaching them to appreciate nature, science, self-sufficiency and golf.
