Leon is an educationalist. In addition to being the publisher for Liberalis, he works as a tutor, trainer and oracy consultant.

His background is that of a voice and public speaking trainer. He studied music as an undergraduate and did an RCA/V&A MA Degree in the History of Design and Material Culture. Leon speaks 5 languages, and has had numerous articles to do with voice training and material culture history published in specialist journals and magazines as well as being a published poet and author. Leon has worked as an editor, proofreader, storyteller and performance poet and his practice is informed by an integrated approach to teaching the classical world of the liberal arts curriculum.
