originThe British Fantasy Society (BFS)  and the British Fantasy Convention (FantasyCon) present the British Fantasy Awards (BFA) annually. The nominee list stars as a crowdsourced list of suggestions for British Fantasy Society, FantasyCon 2014 and FantasyCon 2015 members to consider when voting for the British Fantasy Awards 2015.

We are excited to note that CI has two novels on the list in the fantasy novel section, - Origin, by blog regular Colleen Douglas, and Thimio's House, by John Kefala Kerr (Perfect Edge). Plus, in the horror section we have The Wanderer, Timothy J. Jarvis (Perfect Edge Books).

Colleen Douglas said: "Well, what to say, the BFS Awards is certainly a notable achievement for genre fiction. It has been around since 1976. It has been won by notable names, such as Neil Gaiman, Ramsey Campbell and Sarah Pinborough. It has recently been taking steps to incorporate more new writers and categories. That ultimately can only be a good thing. "

Congratulations to all three authors for being put forward, and good luck as the voting commences!
