Much fiction for younger readers is written by far older people, but Annika has the skill and insight to write about being a teen from inside that experience.

Annika began writing Midnight Meanders as a freshman in high school and finally witnessed its publication as a senior. Passionate about literature, horseback riding and the B’nai Brith Youth Organization, she is currently looking to major in English with a concentration in screenwriting at a four-year college. She serves as the president of her youth group, is a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers at a draft horse rescue. She hopes to join the Peace Corps in the future, become a masked vigilante to fight for social justice, and meet Morgan Freeman.
