Thursday 22nd February 2018 celebrates World Yoga Day. It was first started several years ago by Samira Radsi, a yoga teacher living in Berlin, Germany. One Saturday morning after a long night with little sleep she was counting milk bubbles in her Cappuccino when the idea for World Yoga Day popped out of nowhere.

On World Yoga day, yoga teachers and schools around the world donate their time and space to a two hour yoga session which is devoted to human rights. Devoting our thoughts and energy globally to the human rights issue will generate a powerful impact.

Yoga’s health benefits have been known to humankind for thousands of years. It improves flexibility, balance and posture, builds muscle strength, increases your blood flow, boosts immunity, helps regulate blood pressure, helps you learn to focus, and helps you sleep better, to name but a few of the ways it can make your life better. But have you ever thought of what benefits it could have on your children?
